What! We're Gonna Get The Tonight Show Starring Big B!!
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Watch out, Jimmy Fallon...you gotta compete with a legend
Our day just got made when we heard this piece of news. And we bet it'll have the same effect on you.
SpotboyE.com has exclusively learnt that Amitabh Bachchan is all set to host a chat show. Mind you, we're not talking any chat show. It will be the Indian version of the popular US show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Do we already see you going wow!
For those of you who don't know about the American late-night talk show, first of all, what are you doing?
Anyway, the show opens with Fallon's topical monologue, then moves on to comedic sketches and games, concluding with a guest interview and a musical performance.
Given Big B's sharp wit and his popularity, it's kinda perfect that he'll step into Fallon's shoes. The show will be produced by BBC and aired on Star Plus.
A source told us, "This will be the first time that Mr. Bachchan will be hosting a chat show. He has earlier hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati, but this will be different. He has a great sense of humour and knows all the stars very well, hence they will be comfortable with him."
We can't wait for this show to hit the tube.
On an aside, which Bollywood star has made the best transition to the small screen? Big B or Aamir Khan? Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan? Tell us on facebook.com/SpotboyE and twitter.com/SpotboyEtheshow with #BollywoodOnTV.
